Gymshark

the Brief

GymShark wanted to grow brand awareness and scale its business both within the UK and beyond. With an already established target market, they tasked the team at Regital to support their growth through expert programmatic prospecting and retargeting.

our Approach

We used various programmatic and analytics tools to tap into key data points about the target audience where GymShark could communicate with consumers who regularly engaged with them, including their careers, demographics and previous engagement with Gymshark. As a D2C-focused brand, our approach was built on tracking sales from the website and using performance insight to continually optimise campaigns. We also created a bespoke dashboard for GymShark, where we provided an in-depth breakdown of each product and consumer for the brand. These results clearly surfaced in the dash, allowing the responsible team to make informed business decisions quickly.   GymShark runs really successful pop-up events where consumers see the products, participate in events and meet with key sports influencers. We used the plans for upcoming pop-up events to build an additional layer of location-based activity to the campaign so we could both drive potential customers to events and retarget those who had been to one to encourage them to purchase.

The Results

As a result of Regital’s programmatic strategy, we saw a significant improvement in sales, with a 142% uplift as well as a 64% improvement in mobile conversions. By the end of the campaign, GymShark also saw 6.7 times more ROAI.

Regital’s approach to both the strategic elements and management of the account was of the highest order, with dedicated and knowledgeable resources available as and when required. Their data handling, analysis and wide-range of products allowed us to activate best-in-market campaigns that were constantly on the front-foot in terms of what is new.

Results were incredible, contributing to our success in becoming one of the fastest growing brands in the world.
